Grief, trauma and sexual abuse: The stories of two women' is a strong reminder of the experiences of victims of sexual assault and the impact on their lives. These two stories will evoke strong emotions, raise awareness and increase the consciousness of these crimes for all who view this video. The courage of these two women will contribute greatly to a broader community understanding of issues that are often hidden, and draw attention to the support needs of victims of sexual crime. Tina and Lucy speak sincerely, honestly and bravely. While their specific experiences differ, their journeys share the features of trauma, loss and healing. The pain and grief that arises from such violence is illustrated vividly.
